Online Fitness Training Allows Trainer to Train Clients Across the Globe
Thief River Falls, MN May 22, 2004 -- Health & fitness enthusiasts often seek the services of a personal trainer for 'fine-tuning' their fitness goals. Due to the bulging waistlines of today's population, personal training as a whole is expanding its role as well. With more people needing high quality training advice and programs, and only so much time to do one on one sessions, a trainer can only train so many clients face-to-face. Online fitness training allows personal trainers and coaches the ability to expand their clientele base, and train clients from virtually anywhere.
One such trainer who is taking advantage of this concept is Rick Karboviak, CSCS, of www.total-improvement-performance.com. Rick has a full-time job as a trainer and sports performance specialist, but does online training in his spare time to help others with their sports or fitness goals. Mainly, he's trained clients within the US, but recently, he was quite surprised when a new client signed up for his services. That new client was Martin Mureithi, from Nairobi, Kenya. Karboviak immediately sent an email to Martin, checking to make sure that this was, in fact, a sure thing. Martin is an 18 year old, in Kenya, who is seeking out Karboviak for his assistance in helping him with his sports & fitness goals.
Karboviak first conversed with Martin over a volunteer experts site, AllExperts.com, in which Martin asked him some in-depth questions. Karboviak answered his questions and referred him to his website if he wanted further training. Martin took him up on the offer, and is now filling out some online forms, in which Karboviak reads and develops a strategy & program for him. He creates his programs through another web service, www.fitnessgenerator.com, which is widely gaining popularity with trainers & coaches for its ease of use in developing programs. It is a 'turn-key' system for trainers to add this option to their services.
